Mrizi i Zanave is our destination today, and is known for sustainable agriculture and also for a remarkable cheese. Our friend, Yme, gave us an article on the almost-extinct cheeses of Albania & how Mrizi is working to bring it back. It’s only natural that we may get to experience this cheese 🧀 in person!
Note: we ate possibly the best lunch of my life, including the cheeses. Needless to say, we listened for hunger cues and 24 hours later we were able to eat again!!
