Our plans took a slight detour on the way to Granada when we discovered that the train was cancelled out of Jerez de la Frontera. Thank goodness we had copas of strong cafe con leche to fortify us to hustle to the nearby bus station to jump on a bus to Sevilla, where we grabbed the train to Granada. All’s well when you have a variety of transit options!
After finding the hotel, we wandered the neighborhood and found an amazing lunch. What’s not to love about this country?
And what’s medieval Spain without the inquisition? There is a museum nearby.
